Write up:

Who says you can’t have RGB on a budget?

CPU: I went with the 3400g because it is one of the best APUs (CPU with integrated graphics) on the market.

Motherboard: I went with the MSI because of the price. I do wish It had a few more features as well as a few more fan headers but I put a splitter on the list to take care of that.

Memory: A fox list wouldn’t be complete without at least 16GB of memory and the OLOy RGB delivers.

Storage: As Always for this price point I am pairing a 256 NVME with a 2TB HDD. Put your system and programs on the NVME and put your files and games on the HDD and yes, the NVME has DRAM

Case: Going high class for today’s case. The H510 is awesome.

Power Supply: Went with the budget option here. Yes it’s ugly but it is name brand and with proper cable management and the PSU Shroud you won’t see it and it is well reviewed so it should last you for years to come.

Case Fans: I love be quiet fans. Make sure to grab 2 for the front of your case and when you instal them make sure the arrow in the fan points toward your motherboard. Also grab the 1 to 4 fan splitter as the MB only has 1 System Fan header and your build has 4 fans total (1 is included with the case)

Conclusion: This is a solid little rainbow puke workhorse for Home PC, Light Shop Work, and Light Gaming. A $590 option for those who are tired of the big box stores $300 builds crapping out after a few months. Note that this build does not have a separate graphics card. The 3400g has Vega 11 graphics which is enough to get your foot in the door on PC gaming and strong enough of a CPU that once you add a dedicated graphics card down the line that you won’t feel like you compromised.
