$2,000 Higher-Level Gaming, Streaming, and Production
An excellent step up from the $1,500 build is this Higher-Tier PC. I try to stay +/- 15% of the budget, and today we are pushing +15%, but I feel the upgrade to a better case, 1TB NVME, and good ram is well worth it.
This R9 3900XT and RTX 2080 Super build will play most games on Ultra settings at 60-100+FPS. For production users, the NVIDIA Studio Driver works with the included graphics card to accelerate the performance of programs like Auto CAD, PhotoShop, AfterEffects. Premiere Pro… You can get the Studio Driver HERE.

Write Up:
CPU:
The 3900XT offers a 12-core 24-thread overclockable performance that will breeze through almost any workload with ease.
CPU Cooler:
The 212 from Cooler Master is a great looking and excellent performing air cooler, which will have no issues keeping up with the CPU.
Motherboard:
This board from Asus is a premium X570 board with almost every feature you could want except maybe WIFI and Bluetooth 5.0, but we address that in the optional WIFI card.
Memory:
This 32GB DDR4-3600 kit from G.Skill is the sweet spot for Ryzen CPUs to ensure the CPU is speeding right through all the Chrome Tabs you can throw at it (within reason lol)
Storage (SSD):
This 500GB NVME SSD drive from Patriot has 512MB of cache (DRAM). This is the drive to install your system and your main games and programs to ensure the pc is speeding along for years to come.
Storage (HDD):
The Seagate Barracuda 2TB is a mainstay on my lists. This is the drive to put everything you don’t want clogging up your NVME. Games, songs, stream sources…. Any files that aren’t as demanding. HDDs get a lot of flak—a lot of builders switching to a single 1TB NVME. But the price to performance and storage of the Barracuda HDD is unbeatable. HDDs are great at one program at a time. If all you’re doing is loading a game, just playing a song, only loading a stream source… HDDs are fantastic for single tasks.
Video Card:
This 2080 Super from EVGA is a reliable higher-tier video card that will breeze through most games on ultra settings. The RTX 2080 Super also has a Turing NVENC encoder that can take the stream encoding load off the GPU and the CPU for you aspiring streamers.
Case:
This case from Phanteks gives a beautiful black and sleek appearance with tasteful RGB on the front panel to your build. With its easy cable management and tempered glass side panel, even new builders can get a clean and professional-looking build. It includes 1 120mm Exhaust but you can grab 3 more for an intake. Grab a 1to4 fan splitter HERE if you do.
Power Supply:
This PSU from EVGA is a dependable 750W fully-modular 80+ gold rated power supply. It has enough power for today and upgrades tomorrow.
Optional WIFI Card:
This little card is fantastic. I have one in all of my personal builds. The Bluetooth connectivity is impressive. I have had uninterrupted connectivity throughout my house. So if I am working in the office and then go to the kitchen to grab a snack, my music is still playing through my headphones.
Bible Verse of the day:
14 Heal me, LORD, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise.
