So if you're wanting RGB I got your RGB This week’s Saturday Special build is an all out RGB iCue no compromises $3500 beast.
Starting with the CPU I went with a 3950x. It has come down to just shy of $500 which is an amazing price for one of the most powerful CPUs currently on the market.
Moving on to the cooler I went with the H150i Pro. When you want everything to me iCue why not get the top of the line iCue Cooler from Corsair.
For the Motherboard I went with the MSI MEG. Just like the Megalodon this board is assumedly named after this board is a beast.
Next, to the memory. I went with a 4x8 kit of 3200 RGB ram. I could have done a 2x16 but for the full RGB experience might as well have 4 sticks lighting up the dark. 3200 isn’t the fastest but with 3rd gen ryzen anything over 3,000 is good.
For storage I went with a NVME from HP. This card surprised me as it has the same amount of DRAM as Samsung cards twice it’s price. I paired that 1TB NVME with a 2 TB Hard drive from Seagate. This is one of the most popular HDDs on the market because of it’s price and performance.
For the Video card I wanted no compromises and short of going Titan this Asus card delivers while also providing a nice bit of RGB beauty
The Case? Well you can’t do an iCue build without an iCue Case. It comes with a RGB controller and 3 Corsair LL120 RGB Fans.
For the power supply I went with the Corsair RM 850W gold rated PSU. It will be more than enough to power this beast build for years to come.
Last, I have Case Fans. I added 4 of the matching LL 120 RGB fans to finish out the case. Use 3 to replace the stock fans on the radiator to go full blown iCue RGB Bliss.
